STORYLINE
Today we are playing Chaos Tag. Your goal is to be the last student standing.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Before the game begins, spread out onto the field.
- When I say, “GO!” try and tag as many people as you can.
- You may only use two-finger butterfly tags.
- If you are tagged or go out-of-bounds, you must sit down.
- You can only get back up when the person that tagged you goes down.
- If you tag someone at the same time as they tag you, Ro Sham Bo to decide who sits down.
- Students cannot be tagged during Ro Sham Bo.
- There are no alliances.
Game 1: Play as indicated above.
Game 2: Allow students to have one-person alliances.
Game 3: Each student must link arms or hold hands with another student. If one student is tagged, both are down and cannot get back up until the team that tagged them goes down.
Game 4: Allow students who are sitting down to be able to tag. If they tag someone while sitting down, they are back up.
Game 5: Allow students to crawl or frog hop. If they tag someone while crawling or hopping they are back up.
Game 6: Divide students up into three teams (blue flags, green flags, no flags). Teams compete against each other.
Game 7: Divide students into two groups (blue flags, green flags). Teams compete against each other.
